Florida Hunting Preserves
Commercial hunting preserves and ranches in Florida offer guided hunts for native animals like white-tailed deer, wild hogs, and alligators, as well as exotic animals such as axis deer, blackbuck, and oryx. These places are regulated by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and need permits to operate and release animals. Many ranches also provide lodging and meals to improve the hunting experience. Hunters using a commercial hunting preserve license may not need some individual hunting licenses or permits. However, hunting rules on these preserves can be different from those on public lands.
