Tips and hints for writing an effective Marketplace Ad
Name
First name is required. Full last name is optional. Many club members simply use last initial.
Ad Title
Write a clear. concise, catchy title that will capture a shopper’s interest and encourage them to keep reading.
Item Description
Effective marketplace descriptions use clear and concise language, short paragraphs, and bullet points. Be honest about condition and flaws. Proofread before posting!
Asking Price
Include your asking price as numbers, no dollar sign
Price Negotiation
Let shoppers know if your price is firm or you’ll accept offers.
Phone
Use the best number for buyers to reach you. Let folks know if you prefer calls only, texts only, or will accept either.
Optional, but a helpful way for buyers to reach you.
